Video Licenses

In this section, you will find all the necessary information about Video Products Licenses and the use of stock video products sold at the TemplateMonster marketplace. The license authenticates purchasers to use products under certain terms.

Video Product License Types

TemplateMonster marketplace authors can benefit from two types of licenses. Each of these will provide certain benefits and restrictions to your buyers. Choose among Regular Video license and Extended stock video license.

License TypeAvailable for ReuseNumber of product uses/projectsLowest PriceHighest Price
Regular Video LicenseNo1$4$86
Extended Video LicenseNo1$12$258

Regular Video License

The Regular video license grants the purchaser a non-exclusive commercial license to create various video content types. The Regular Video license allows creating one End Product that may include one or more Video products from the TemplateMonster marketplace. The purchaser may also utilize the Video product at a public performance at a broadcast. Distribution and reproduction are strictly prohibited.

Possible End Products that can be created using a Regular Video license include DVDs, websites, games, presentations, online videos published within one account, corporate videos, films, TV shows, and video advertisements.

What you can do:

  • create End Product for yourself or a client;
  • create any number of copies of the single End Product;
  • distribute a single End Product through multiple media, and making it available online or broadcast it to an unlimited number of viewers;
  • modify or manipulate the product, combine it with other works to create an End Product.

What you can’t do:

  • re-distribute the Video product like a video clip, as stock, in a tool or template, or with source files;
  • re-distribute the Video product as-is or with superficial modifications;
  • use in “on-demand,” “made to order,” and “build it yourself” applications;
  • use the Video product for merchandising, which means an End Product where the primary value of the product lies in the Video product itself;
  • claim trademark over the Video product within the End Product.

Extended Video License

Extended License gives a non-exclusive, commercial right to use the video product. An extended license allows using the Video product to create multiple End Products that will incorporate the Video product and other things so that each End Product is larger in scope and different in nature than the original Video product. The Extended License allows using the Video product through communication to the public (performance), broadcast, display, distribution, and reproduction.

Possible End Products that can be created using an Extended Video License include DVDs, websites, games, presentations, online videos, corporate videos, films, TV shows, and advertisements.

What you can do:

  • create End Products for personal or client's use;
  • create an unlimited number of copies of the End Product;
  • distribute End Product through multiple media, and you can broadcast it or make it available online to an unlimited number of viewers;
  • modify or manipulate the Video product, or combine it with other products to create an End Product.

What you can’t do:

  • re-distribute the Video product like a video clip, as stock, in a tool or template, or with source files
  • You can’t do this with a Video product either on its own or bundled with other items;
  • use in “on-demand,” “made to order,” and “build it yourself” applications;
  • use the Video product for merchandising, which means an End Product where the primary value of the product lies in the Video product itself;
  • permit an end-user to extract the Video product and use it separately from an End Product.
  • claim trademark over the Video product within an End Product.
